The reigning Finals MVP looks to repeat as Silicon Valley, Atlanta, and Rome mount fierce conference challenges.
SAHUR OASIS — As opening month rolls on, all eyes remain fixed on reigning champion Crescent Tung Tungs and their 8’2” franchise center, Tung Tung Tung Sahur. After delivering 41 points and 22 rebounds in a double-overtime road thriller against Silicon Valley, Sahur has firmly asserted his dominance atop the MVP race.
“Our standard has not shifted,” Crescent head coach Master Sahur noted following Tuesday morning’s practice. “Teams are coming with new perimeter schemes, but our discipline inside the paint remains unmatched.”
Across the conference, Silicon Valley point guard Verity continues to test defensive physics, averaging a staggering 29.1 points and 12.8 assists while shooting 54% from the field.
"The championship banner is in the rafters, but every game starts zero-zero. We play with the same hunger."
