Twin Towers of MSG: How CaseOh and Fanum Transformed New York Into an Interior Juggernaut
Combining for 30.1 rebounds per game, the Taxers’ bruising frontcourt is rewriting modern second-chance scoring metrics.
MANHATTAN — Walk into a film session with any Sigma Conference coaching staff and the conversation inevitably turns to one problem: how do you box out both CaseOh and Fanum on the same possession? Through 22 games, the answer across the BBL has been simple—you can’t.
CaseOh (16.2 RPG, 3.1 BPG) and Fanum (13.9 RPG, 24.6 PPG) are pulling down a combined 38.4% of all available missed shots by New York perimeter gunners Blicky the Pullup and Chopped Cheese Charlie. Whenever a three-pointer rims out at Madison Square Garden, New York’s frontcourt converts the offensive board into an immediate putback slam.
“Analytics people told us two traditional bigs couldn’t coexist in 2026,” New York head coach Big Mike laughed after Friday’s practice. “Try telling that to an opposing center who has to survive 48 minutes in the paint with CaseOh and Fanum.”
"Once I establish deep seal position under the basket, the rim is mine. Fanum clears the weak side, and we feast on the glass all night."
