Front Office & Scouting Notebook: How Ohio Sigmas and Atlanta Rizzlers Are Building Around The Ohio King and Kai Cenat
Inside the roster construction, lineup analytics, and future draft asset strategy shaping the 2029-30 Regular Season.
NEW YORK — As the Ohio Sigmas prepare to face the Atlanta Rizzlers at The AMP Dome (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), BBL front-office executives point to both franchises as models of modern roster construction during the 2029-30 Regular Season.
In Canton, the combination of The Ohio King (24.1 PPG, 48.6% FG) and Patrick Bateman has produced elite half-court efficiency, while Atlanta Rizzlers continue to build around Kai Cenat (28.4 PPG, 2.1 RPG) while maintaining draft flexibility for upcoming selection classes.
“Every matchup between OHI and ATL serves as a measuring stick for both front offices,” a BBL scouting director observed. “The talent level on the floor tonight reflects years of smart drafting and player development.”
"Our front office and coaching staff have put together a special locker room in Atlanta. Now it’s on us to execute every night."
