Film Room: How Livvy Dunne’s 25-Point Masterclass Unlocked Miami Phantoms’ 122-117 Victory Over Denver
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Miami Phantoms’ win over Denver Smurf Cats.
MIAMI — Reviewing the tape from Miami Phantoms’ 122-117 triumph over the Denver Smurf Cats reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Livvy Dunne recorded 25 points and 6 assists while utilizing his signature "Acrobatic Beam-Balance Euro-Step" to punish every defensive coverage Denver deployed.
Whenever Denver Smurf Cats sent a second defender above the three-point line, Livvy Dunne calmly hit Baby Gronk (24 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Shailushai (Smurf Cat) answering for Denver with 28 points, Miami Phantoms’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029-30 Regular Season slate (2029-12-15), attention shifts to Toronto Mewers visiting Boston Grimaces at The Purple Garden (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Handsome Squidward and Grimace headline the marquee matchup.
"Livvy Dunne read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 25 points with 6 assists against Denver Smurf Cats is textbook point-of-attack execution."
