TORONTO — The 2029-30 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to The Jawline Pavilion to face the Toronto Mewers (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Toronto cornerstone Handsome Squidward (24.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Boston Grimaces defeated the Vegas V-Bucks 124-99 behind Grimace’s 28 points, 17 rebounds, and 1 assists.
“Playing at The Jawline Pavilion requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Handsome Squidward can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Jawline Pavilion. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
