Film Room: How Fortnite Jonesy’s 29-Point Masterclass Unlocked Vegas V-Bucks’ 121-101 Victory Over Austin
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Vegas V-Bucks’ win over Texas Edgers.
LAS VEGAS — Reviewing the tape from Vegas V-Bucks’ 121-101 triumph over the Texas Edgers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Fortnite Jonesy recorded 29 points and 4 assists while utilizing his signature "Tilted Towers 90-Degree Fadeaway" to punish every defensive coverage Austin deployed.
Whenever Texas Edgers sent a second defender above the three-point line, Fortnite Jonesy calmly hit Peely the Slasher (23 PTS, 2 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Duke Dennis answering for Austin with 29 points, Vegas V-Bucks’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029-30 Regular Season slate (2029-11-01), attention shifts to Miami Phantoms visiting Boston Grimaces at The Purple Garden (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Baby Gronk and Grimace headline the marquee matchup.
"Fortnite Jonesy read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 29 points with 4 assists against Texas Edgers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
