LAS VEGAS — The 2029 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to The Battle Bus Pavilion to face the Vegas V-Bucks (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Las Vegas cornerstone Fortnite Jonesy (23.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Brooklyn Bomboclaats defeated the Toronto Mewers 106-101 behind Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper’s 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.
“Playing at The Battle Bus Pavilion requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “Fortnite Jonesy can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Battle Bus Pavilion. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
