LOS ANGELES — The 2029 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Golden State Sahurs travel to Sunset Horizon Center to face the Los Angeles Gyatts (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits San Francisco star Tung Tung Tung Sahur (26.8 PPG, 11.8 APG) against Los Angeles cornerstone Hollywood Rizzler (25.1 PPG, 7.9 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Boston Grimaces defeated the Vegas V-Bucks 121-109 behind Grimace’s 30 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 assists.
“Playing at Sunset Horizon Center requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Master Sahur Al-Fajr told reporters at morning shootaround. “Hollywood Rizzler can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Sunset Horizon Center. Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Golden State Sahurs bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
