BAY HARBOR — The 2029 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Miami Phantoms travel to Goober Marina Colosseum to face the Bay Harbor Goobers (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass). The head-to-head matchup pits Miami star Baby Gronk (21.2 PPG, 8.9 APG) against Bay Harbor cornerstone Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 15.2 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Brooklyn Bomboclaats defeated the Boston Grimaces 127-112 behind Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper’s 38 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists.
“Playing at Goober Marina Colosseum requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Livvy told reporters at morning shootaround. “Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Goober Marina Colosseum. Baby Gronk and Miami Phantoms bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
