Film Room: How The Ohio King’s 30-Point Masterclass Unlocked Ohio Sigmas’ 122-120 Victory Over Bay Harbor
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Ohio Sigmas’ win over Bay Harbor Goobers.
CANTON — Reviewing the tape from Ohio Sigmas’ 122-120 triumph over the Bay Harbor Goobers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, The Ohio King recorded 30 points and 7 assists while utilizing his signature "Buckeye Fadeaway Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Bay Harbor deployed.
Whenever Bay Harbor Goobers sent a second defender above the three-point line, The Ohio King calmly hit Patrick Bateman (27 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo answering for Bay Harbor with 32 points, Ohio Sigmas’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Summer League slate (2029-07-24), attention shifts to Brooklyn Bomboclaats visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"The Ohio King read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 30 points with 7 assists against Bay Harbor Goobers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
