Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Chico Lachowski Combine for 57 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2029 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past Portland GigaChads (126-118) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Chico Lachowski passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 126-118 victory over the Portland GigaChads. Combining for 57 points and 13 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as GigaChad poured in 33 points to keep Portland within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Summer League slate (2029-07-18), attention shifts to Bay Harbor Goobers visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Portland."
