Today’s 2029 BBL Summer League slate tips off at The Jawline Pavilion (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV) following Kai Cenat’s 34-point eruption against Canton.
TORONTO — The 2029 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to The Jawline Pavilion to face the Toronto Mewers (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Toronto cornerstone Handsome Squidward (24.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Atlanta Rizzlers defeated the Ohio Sigmas 126-109 behind Kai Cenat’s 34 points, 2 rebounds, and 10 assists.
“Playing at The Jawline Pavilion requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Handsome Squidward can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Jawline Pavilion. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
