Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack Combine for 54 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2029 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past Los Angeles Gyatts (123-110) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 123-110 victory over the Los Angeles Gyatts. Combining for 54 points and 9 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Hollywood Rizzler poured in 29 points to keep Los Angeles within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Summer League slate (2029-07-06), attention shifts to Boston Grimaces visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Grimace and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Los Angeles."
