PORTLAND — The 2029 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to Moda Chiseled Center to face the Portland GigaChads (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Portland cornerstone GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 12.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Atlanta Rizzlers defeated the Silicon Valley Disrupters 121-110 behind Kai Cenat’s 32 points, 3 rebounds, and 11 assists.
“Playing at Moda Chiseled Center requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “GigaChad can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Moda Chiseled Center. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
