Film Room: How Grimace’s 27-Point Masterclass Unlocked Boston Grimaces’ 113-103 Victory Over Seattle
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Boston Grimaces’ win over Seattle Skibidis.
BOSTON — Reviewing the tape from Boston Grimaces’ 113-103 triumph over the Seattle Skibidis reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Grimace recorded 27 points and 2 assists while utilizing his signature "Purple Swat & Paint Lockdown" to punish every defensive coverage Seattle deployed.
Whenever Seattle Skibidis sent a second defender above the three-point line, Grimace calmly hit Hamburglar (22 PTS, 4 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Skibidi Prime answering for Seattle with 27 points, Boston Grimaces’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Summer League slate (2029-06-22), attention shifts to New York Taxers visiting Texas Edgers at Lone Star Edge Pavilion (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Fanum and Duke Dennis headline the marquee matchup.
"Grimace read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 27 points with 2 assists against Seattle Skibidis is textbook point-of-attack execution."
