Today’s 2029 BBL World Finals slate tips off at The Purple Garden (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV) following Skibidi Prime’s 26-point eruption against Denver.
BOSTON — The 2029 BBL World Finals schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Brooklyn Bomboclaats travel to The Purple Garden to face the Boston Grimaces (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Brooklyn star Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 7.9 APG) against Boston cornerstone Grimace (19.8 PPG, 16.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Seattle Skibidis defeated the Denver Smurf Cats 115-99 behind Skibidi Prime’s 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 1 assists.
“Playing at The Purple Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Vincenzo Russo told reporters at morning shootaround. “Grimace can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Purple Garden. Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Brooklyn Bomboclaats bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
