BAY HARBOR — The 2029 BBL Playoffs schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Los Angeles Gyatts travel to Goober Marina Colosseum to face the Bay Harbor Goobers (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Los Angeles star Hollywood Rizzler (25.1 PPG, 7.2 APG) against Bay Harbor cornerstone Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 15.2 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Texas Edgers defeated the Boston Grimaces 128-98 behind Duke Dennis’s 38 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“Playing at Goober Marina Colosseum requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” The Rizzmaster General told reporters at morning shootaround. “Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Goober Marina Colosseum. Hollywood Rizzler and Los Angeles Gyatts bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
