Association Pulse: Duke Dennis and Longhorn Luke Combine for 58 Points as Texas Edgers Surge in 2029 BBL Playoffs
Inside the chemistry propelling Austin past Miami Phantoms (125-116) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
AUSTIN — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Duke Dennis and Longhorn Luke passed another major test in Texas Edgers’ 125-116 victory over the Miami Phantoms. Combining for 58 points and 15 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Baby Gronk poured in 28 points to keep Miami within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Texas Edgers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Playoffs slate (2029-04-25), attention shifts to Brooklyn Bomboclaats visiting Bay Harbor Goobers at Goober Marina Colosseum (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Duke Dennis makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Miami."
