Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 34-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 113-104 Victory Over San Jose
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Silicon Valley Disrupters.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 113-104 triumph over the Silicon Valley Disrupters reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 34 points and 6 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage San Jose deployed.
Whenever Silicon Valley Disrupters sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Jawline Jack (22 PTS, 8 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Verity answering for San Jose with 29 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2029 BBL Playoffs slate (2029-04-19), attention shifts to Portland GigaChads visiting Atlanta Rizzlers at The AMP Dome (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where GigaChad and Kai Cenat headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 34 points with 6 assists against Silicon Valley Disrupters is textbook point-of-attack execution."
