Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 31-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 123-105 Victory Over Austin
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Texas Edgers.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 123-105 triumph over the Texas Edgers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 31 points and 3 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Austin deployed.
Whenever Texas Edgers sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Looksmaxxer Leo (22 PTS, 2 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Duke Dennis answering for Austin with 32 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate (2029-03-10), attention shifts to Ohio Sigmas visiting Golden State Sahurs at The Sahur Pavilion at Chase Center (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT), where The Ohio King and Tung Tung Tung Sahur headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 31 points with 3 assists against Texas Edgers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
