DENVER — The 2028-29 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Boston Grimaces travel to The Smurf Summit Arena to face the Denver Smurf Cats (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Boston star Grimace (19.8 PPG, 2.1 APG) against Denver cornerstone Shailushai (Smurf Cat) (23.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Brooklyn Bomboclaats defeated the Texas Edgers 124-116 behind Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper’s 37 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists.
“Playing at The Smurf Summit Arena requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ronald McDonald-rot told reporters at morning shootaround. “Shailushai (Smurf Cat) can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Smurf Summit Arena. Grimace and Boston Grimaces bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
