Today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate tips off at South Beach Void Arena (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC) following Handsome Squidward’s 29-point eruption against Portland.
MIAMI — The 2028-29 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Texas Edgers travel to South Beach Void Arena to face the Miami Phantoms (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC). The head-to-head matchup pits Austin star Duke Dennis (26.2 PPG, 5.4 APG) against Miami cornerstone Baby Gronk (21.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Toronto Mewers defeated the Portland GigaChads 117-115 behind Handsome Squidward’s 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
“Playing at South Beach Void Arena requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Duke Dennis the Elder told reporters at morning shootaround. “Baby Gronk can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at South Beach Void Arena. Duke Dennis and Texas Edgers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
