Film Room: How Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper’s 32-Point Masterclass Unlocked Brooklyn Bomboclaats’ 112-98 Victory Over New York
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Brooklyn Bomboclaats’ win over New York Taxers.
BROOKLYN — Reviewing the tape from Brooklyn Bomboclaats’ 112-98 triumph over the New York Taxers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper recorded 32 points and 9 assists while utilizing his signature "Hand Gesture Stepback Triple" to punish every defensive coverage New York deployed.
Whenever New York Taxers sent a second defender above the three-point line, Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper calmly hit Giancarlo Stepback (24 PTS, 6 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Fanum answering for New York with 23 points, Brooklyn Bomboclaats’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate (2029-02-06), attention shifts to Portland GigaChads visiting Miami Phantoms at South Beach Void Arena (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC), where GigaChad and Baby Gronk headline the marquee matchup.
"Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 32 points with 9 assists against New York Taxers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
