Association Pulse: Baby Gronk and Livvy Dunne Combine for 48 Points as Miami Phantoms Surge in 2028-29 Regular Season
Inside the chemistry propelling Miami past Denver Smurf Cats (108-101) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
MIAMI — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Baby Gronk and Livvy Dunne passed another major test in Miami Phantoms’ 108-101 victory over the Denver Smurf Cats. Combining for 48 points and 9 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Shailushai (Smurf Cat) poured in 27 points to keep Denver within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Miami Phantoms executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate (2029-01-27), attention shifts to Portland GigaChads visiting Ohio Sigmas at The Sigma Fortress (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN), where GigaChad and The Ohio King headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Baby Gronk makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Denver."
