Film Room: How Hollywood Rizzler’s 28-Point Masterclass Unlocked Los Angeles Gyatts’ 122-118 Victory Over San Jose
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Los Angeles Gyatts’ win over Silicon Valley Disrupters.
LOS ANGELES — Reviewing the tape from Los Angeles Gyatts’ 122-118 triumph over the Silicon Valley Disrupters reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Hollywood Rizzler recorded 28 points and 6 assists while utilizing his signature "Showtime Chase-Down Jam" to punish every defensive coverage San Jose deployed.
Whenever Silicon Valley Disrupters sent a second defender above the three-point line, Hollywood Rizzler calmly hit Hollywood Hype (24 PTS, 3 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Verity answering for San Jose with 38 points, Los Angeles Gyatts’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate (2029-01-25), attention shifts to Boston Grimaces visiting Portland GigaChads at Moda Chiseled Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Grimace and GigaChad headline the marquee matchup.
"Hollywood Rizzler read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 28 points with 6 assists against Silicon Valley Disrupters is textbook point-of-attack execution."
