Today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate tips off at The Battle Bus Pavilion (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT) following Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 25-point eruption against New York.
LAS VEGAS — The 2028-29 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Toronto Mewers travel to The Battle Bus Pavilion to face the Vegas V-Bucks (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Toronto star Handsome Squidward (24.8 PPG, 4.2 APG) against Las Vegas cornerstone Fortnite Jonesy (23.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Denver Smurf Cats defeated the New York Taxers 114-102 behind Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 15 assists.
“Playing at The Battle Bus Pavilion requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Dr. John Mew-rot told reporters at morning shootaround. “Fortnite Jonesy can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Battle Bus Pavilion. Handsome Squidward and Toronto Mewers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
