Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Chico Lachowski Combine for 50 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2028-29 Regular Season
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past Los Angeles Gyatts (111-102) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Chico Lachowski passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 111-102 victory over the Los Angeles Gyatts. Combining for 50 points and 9 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Hollywood Rizzler poured in 23 points to keep Los Angeles within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028-29 Regular Season slate (2028-11-16), attention shifts to Miami Phantoms visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Baby Gronk and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Los Angeles."
