Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 35-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 118-116 Victory Over Bay Harbor
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Bay Harbor Goobers.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 118-116 triumph over the Bay Harbor Goobers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 35 points and 6 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Bay Harbor deployed.
Whenever Bay Harbor Goobers sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Jawline Jack (25 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo answering for Bay Harbor with 31 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 Global Series slate (2028-09-19), attention shifts to Brooklyn Bomboclaats visiting Miami Phantoms at South Beach Void Arena (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC), where Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Baby Gronk headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 35 points with 6 assists against Bay Harbor Goobers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
