Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack Combine for 53 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2028 Global Series
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past Texas Edgers (113-103) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 113-103 victory over the Texas Edgers. Combining for 53 points and 11 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Duke Dennis poured in 33 points to keep Austin within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 Global Series slate (2028-09-17), attention shifts to Denver Smurf Cats visiting Vegas V-Bucks at The Battle Bus Pavilion (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Shailushai (Smurf Cat) and Fortnite Jonesy headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Austin."
