NEW YORK — The 2028 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Silicon Valley Disrupters travel to The Feast Center at MSG to face the New York Taxers (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC). The head-to-head matchup pits San Jose star Verity (29.1 PPG, 12.8 APG) against New York cornerstone Fanum (22.4 PPG, 14.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Miami Phantoms defeated the Toronto Mewers 121-117 behind Baby Gronk’s 30 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 assists.
“Playing at The Feast Center at MSG requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Arthur Sterling told reporters at morning shootaround. “Fanum can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Feast Center at MSG. Verity and Silicon Valley Disrupters bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
