Association Pulse: Fortnite Jonesy and Peely the Slasher Combine for 52 Points as Vegas V-Bucks Surge in 2028 Global Series
Inside the chemistry propelling Las Vegas past Brooklyn Bomboclaats (118-114) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
LAS VEGAS — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Fortnite Jonesy and Peely the Slasher passed another major test in Vegas V-Bucks’ 118-114 victory over the Brooklyn Bomboclaats. Combining for 52 points and 11 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper poured in 29 points to keep Brooklyn within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Vegas V-Bucks executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 Global Series slate (2028-09-01), attention shifts to Silicon Valley Disrupters visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Verity and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Fortnite Jonesy makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Brooklyn."
