BROOKLYN — The 2028 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Vegas V-Bucks travel to Flatbush Trench Garden to face the Brooklyn Bomboclaats (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC). The head-to-head matchup pits Las Vegas star Fortnite Jonesy (23.5 PPG, 4.5 APG) against Brooklyn cornerstone Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Silicon Valley Disrupters defeated the Toronto Mewers 115-112 behind Verity’s 34 points, 4 rebounds, and 12 assists.
“Playing at Flatbush Trench Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ninja-rot Bleevins told reporters at morning shootaround. “Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Flatbush Trench Garden. Fortnite Jonesy and Vegas V-Bucks bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
