Association Pulse: Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock Combine for 47 Points as Texas Edgers Surge in 2028 Global Series
Inside the chemistry propelling Austin past Bay Harbor Goobers (110-106) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
AUSTIN — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock passed another major test in Texas Edgers’ 110-106 victory over the Bay Harbor Goobers. Combining for 47 points and 15 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo poured in 29 points to keep Bay Harbor within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Texas Edgers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 Global Series slate (2028-08-28), attention shifts to Denver Smurf Cats visiting Portland GigaChads at Moda Chiseled Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN), where Shailushai (Smurf Cat) and GigaChad headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Duke Dennis makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Bay Harbor."
