BROOKLYN — The 2028 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Boston Grimaces travel to Flatbush Trench Garden to face the Brooklyn Bomboclaats (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Boston star Grimace (19.8 PPG, 2.1 APG) against Brooklyn cornerstone Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Miami Phantoms defeated the Golden State Sahurs 122-105 behind Baby Gronk’s 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists.
“Playing at Flatbush Trench Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ronald McDonald-rot told reporters at morning shootaround. “Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Flatbush Trench Garden. Grimace and Boston Grimaces bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
