Film Room: How GigaChad’s 33-Point Masterclass Unlocked Portland GigaChads’ 118-114 Victory Over Boston
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Portland GigaChads’ win over Boston Grimaces.
PORTLAND — Reviewing the tape from Portland GigaChads’ 118-114 triumph over the Boston Grimaces reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, GigaChad recorded 33 points and 6 assists while utilizing his signature "Symmetrical Tomahawk Poster Slam" to punish every defensive coverage Boston deployed.
Whenever Boston Grimaces sent a second defender above the three-point line, GigaChad calmly hit Jawline Joe (23 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Grimace answering for Boston with 25 points, Portland GigaChads’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-07-29), attention shifts to Atlanta Rizzlers visiting Denver Smurf Cats at The Smurf Summit Arena (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC), where Kai Cenat and Shailushai (Smurf Cat) headline the marquee matchup.
"GigaChad read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 33 points with 6 assists against Boston Grimaces is textbook point-of-attack execution."
