Association Pulse: Baby Gronk and The Rizzler Combine for 46 Points as Miami Phantoms Surge in 2028 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Miami past Denver Smurf Cats (111-106) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
MIAMI — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Baby Gronk and The Rizzler passed another major test in Miami Phantoms’ 111-106 victory over the Denver Smurf Cats. Combining for 46 points and 12 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Shailushai (Smurf Cat) poured in 28 points to keep Denver within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Miami Phantoms executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-07-27), attention shifts to Toronto Mewers visiting Bay Harbor Goobers at Goober Marina Colosseum (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Handsome Squidward and Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Baby Gronk makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Denver."
