Front Office & Scouting Notebook: How Silicon Valley Disrupters and Bay Harbor Goobers Are Building Around Verity and Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo
Inside the roster construction, lineup analytics, and future draft asset strategy shaping the 2028 BBL Summer League.
NEW YORK — As the Silicon Valley Disrupters prepare to face the Bay Harbor Goobers at Goober Marina Colosseum (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), BBL front-office executives point to both franchises as models of modern roster construction during the 2028 BBL Summer League.
In San Jose, the combination of Verity (29.1 PPG, 54% FG) and Algorithmic Andre has produced elite half-court efficiency, while Bay Harbor Goobers continue to build around Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 15.2 RPG) while maintaining draft flexibility for upcoming selection classes.
“Every matchup between SVD and BHG serves as a measuring stick for both front offices,” a BBL scouting director observed. “The talent level on the floor tonight reflects years of smart drafting and player development.”
"Our front office and coaching staff have put together a special locker room in Bay Harbor. Now it’s on us to execute every night."
