Film Room: How The Ohio King’s 33-Point Masterclass Unlocked Ohio Sigmas’ 122-118 Victory Over Las Vegas
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Ohio Sigmas’ win over Vegas V-Bucks.
CANTON — Reviewing the tape from Ohio Sigmas’ 122-118 triumph over the Vegas V-Bucks reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, The Ohio King recorded 33 points and 8 assists while utilizing his signature "Buckeye Fadeaway Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Las Vegas deployed.
Whenever Vegas V-Bucks sent a second defender above the three-point line, The Ohio King calmly hit Patrick Bateman (26 PTS, 3 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Fortnite Jonesy answering for Las Vegas with 35 points, Ohio Sigmas’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-07-21), attention shifts to Boston Grimaces visiting Atlanta Rizzlers at The AMP Dome (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Grimace and Kai Cenat headline the marquee matchup.
"The Ohio King read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 33 points with 8 assists against Vegas V-Bucks is textbook point-of-attack execution."
