Film Room: How Fortnite Jonesy’s 30-Point Masterclass Unlocked Vegas V-Bucks’ 125-122 Victory Over Los Angeles
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Vegas V-Bucks’ win over Los Angeles Gyatts.
LAS VEGAS — Reviewing the tape from Vegas V-Bucks’ 125-122 triumph over the Los Angeles Gyatts reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Fortnite Jonesy recorded 30 points and 5 assists while utilizing his signature "Tilted Towers 90-Degree Fadeaway" to punish every defensive coverage Los Angeles deployed.
Whenever Los Angeles Gyatts sent a second defender above the three-point line, Fortnite Jonesy calmly hit Victory Royale Vic (25 PTS, 2 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Hollywood Rizzler answering for Los Angeles with 33 points, Vegas V-Bucks’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-07-13), attention shifts to New York Taxers visiting Golden State Sahurs at The Sahur Pavilion at Chase Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Fanum and Tung Tung Tung Sahur headline the marquee matchup.
"Fortnite Jonesy read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 30 points with 5 assists against Los Angeles Gyatts is textbook point-of-attack execution."
