Association Pulse: GigaChad and Hasbulla Combine for 53 Points as Portland GigaChads Surge in 2028 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Portland past Denver Smurf Cats (124-123) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
PORTLAND — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of GigaChad and Hasbulla passed another major test in Portland GigaChads’ 124-123 victory over the Denver Smurf Cats. Combining for 53 points and 14 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Shailushai (Smurf Cat) poured in 25 points to keep Denver within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Portland GigaChads executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-07-07), attention shifts to Texas Edgers visiting Miami Phantoms at South Beach Void Arena (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Duke Dennis and Baby Gronk headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside GigaChad makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Denver."
