Film Room: How GigaChad’s 30-Point Masterclass Unlocked Portland GigaChads’ 109-108 Victory Over New York
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Portland GigaChads’ win over New York Taxers.
PORTLAND — Reviewing the tape from Portland GigaChads’ 109-108 triumph over the New York Taxers reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, GigaChad recorded 30 points and 4 assists while utilizing his signature "Symmetrical Tomahawk Poster Slam" to punish every defensive coverage New York deployed.
Whenever New York Taxers sent a second defender above the three-point line, GigaChad calmly hit Hasbulla (20 PTS, 3 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Fanum answering for New York with 25 points, Portland GigaChads’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Summer League slate (2028-06-27), attention shifts to Ohio Sigmas visiting Brooklyn Bomboclaats at Flatbush Trench Garden (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where The Ohio King and Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper headline the marquee matchup.
"GigaChad read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 30 points with 4 assists against New York Taxers is textbook point-of-attack execution."
