Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 37-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 126-115 Victory Over Seattle
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Seattle Skibidis.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 126-115 triumph over the Seattle Skibidis reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 37 points and 3 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Seattle deployed.
Whenever Seattle Skibidis sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Jawline Jack (20 PTS, 8 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Skibidi Prime answering for Seattle with 30 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL World Finals slate (2028-06-19), attention shifts to Miami Phantoms visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ABC), where Baby Gronk and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 37 points with 3 assists against Seattle Skibidis is textbook point-of-attack execution."
