Association Pulse: Grimace and Birdie the Early Bird Combine for 50 Points as Boston Grimaces Surge in 2028 BBL World Finals
Inside the chemistry propelling Boston past Bay Harbor Goobers (109-108) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
BOSTON — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Grimace and Birdie the Early Bird passed another major test in Boston Grimaces’ 109-108 victory over the Bay Harbor Goobers. Combining for 50 points and 20 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo poured in 34 points to keep Bay Harbor within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Boston Grimaces executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL World Finals slate (2028-06-17), attention shifts to Silicon Valley Disrupters visiting Denver Smurf Cats at The Smurf Summit Arena (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN), where Verity and Shailushai (Smurf Cat) headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Grimace makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Bay Harbor."
