BOSTON — The 2028 BBL World Finals schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to The Purple Garden to face the Boston Grimaces (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Boston cornerstone Grimace (19.8 PPG, 16.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Atlanta Rizzlers defeated the New York Taxers 125-98 behind Kai Cenat’s 36 points, 1 rebounds, and 9 assists.
“Playing at The Purple Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “Grimace can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Purple Garden. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
