Association Pulse: Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock Combine for 49 Points as Texas Edgers Surge in 2028 BBL World Finals
Inside the chemistry propelling Austin past Silicon Valley Disrupters (110-105) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
AUSTIN — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock passed another major test in Texas Edgers’ 110-105 victory over the Silicon Valley Disrupters. Combining for 49 points and 13 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Verity poured in 32 points to keep San Jose within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Texas Edgers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL World Finals slate (2028-06-09), attention shifts to Toronto Mewers visiting Portland GigaChads at Moda Chiseled Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Handsome Squidward and GigaChad headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Duke Dennis makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against San Jose."
