CANTON — The 2028 BBL Playoffs schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to The Sigma Fortress to face the Ohio Sigmas (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Canton cornerstone The Ohio King (24.1 PPG, 7.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Silicon Valley Disrupters defeated the New York Taxers 124-123 behind Verity’s 38 points, 3 rebounds, and 12 assists.
“Playing at The Sigma Fortress requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “The Ohio King can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Sigma Fortress. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
