Association Pulse: Fanum and Blicky the Pullup Combine for 49 Points as New York Taxers Surge in 2028 BBL Playoffs
Inside the chemistry propelling New York past Denver Smurf Cats (115-104) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
NEW YORK — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Fanum and Blicky the Pullup passed another major test in New York Taxers’ 115-104 victory over the Denver Smurf Cats. Combining for 49 points and 20 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Shailushai (Smurf Cat) poured in 26 points to keep Denver within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, New York Taxers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2028 BBL Playoffs slate (2028-04-22), attention shifts to Bay Harbor Goobers visiting Brooklyn Bomboclaats at Flatbush Trench Garden (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT), where Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Fanum makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Denver."
