Today’s 2028 BBL Playoffs slate tips off at The Purple Garden (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT) following Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo’s 38-point eruption against Brooklyn.
BOSTON — The 2028 BBL Playoffs schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to The Purple Garden to face the Boston Grimaces (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Boston cornerstone Grimace (19.8 PPG, 16.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Bay Harbor Goobers defeated the Brooklyn Bomboclaats 122-121 behind Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo’s 38 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists.
“Playing at The Purple Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Grimace can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Purple Garden. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
