Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 28-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 108-104 Victory Over Denver
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Denver Smurf Cats.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 108-104 triumph over the Denver Smurf Cats reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 28 points and 4 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Denver deployed.
Whenever Denver Smurf Cats sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Looksmaxxer Leo (20 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Shailushai (Smurf Cat) answering for Denver with 27 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate (2028-04-08), attention shifts to New York Taxers visiting Seattle Skibidis at The Porcelain Coliseum (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT), where Fanum and Skibidi Prime headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 28 points with 4 assists against Denver Smurf Cats is textbook point-of-attack execution."
