LOS ANGELES — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Brooklyn Bomboclaats travel to Sunset Horizon Center to face the Los Angeles Gyatts (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / ESPN). The head-to-head matchup pits Brooklyn star Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 7.9 APG) against Los Angeles cornerstone Hollywood Rizzler (25.1 PPG, 7.9 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Golden State Sahurs defeated the Bay Harbor Goobers 122-118 behind Tung Tung Tung Sahur’s 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists.
“Playing at Sunset Horizon Center requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Vincenzo Russo told reporters at morning shootaround. “Hollywood Rizzler can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Sunset Horizon Center. Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Brooklyn Bomboclaats bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
